Different from your typical wings they are an absolute must try! The pizze with the spicy honey was amazing too. Nice bar layout and overall nice place to either go with friends or just hang out at the bar for a beer and a bite! I make sure to come here Everytime I come to New York! ”
“ I've been here several times now, and have never had a bad meal. It's not an in and out kind of meal though, food takes some time to come out, especially during busier times, but it's well worth the wait. Also I've gotten Courtney as our server a few times now, and she was beyond engaging and super personable. She's almost become part of our dining experience when we dine here. Looking forward to the next visit! ”

“ We found Wood & Fire on Yelp and stopped on the way back from LGA. I have to give it up for Courtney, she was a fabulous server. Just a great attitude and spirit. Thanks. Santa's Sangria was a nice and different drink. My daughter enjoyed that on while I had the root beer. We started with Garlic bread with fresh mozzarella it was so good! The dipping sauce was also a nice add. For dinner we enjoyed the Steak and avocado salad which was fresh and delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare as we asked. The Sunday cavatappi with meat balls, sausage and short rib was a great dish. The flavors were balanced and each ingredient stood on its own and went well together. We were impressed by the menu and could have ordered several other dishes, hope to make it back for another shot. The restaurant also seems like it would be fun to go to when it is warmer. There is a big indoor outdoor section. Alas in December it was still a great spot. ”
“ I went with my cousins for an early dinner on Saturday. Everything we ordered was delicious, I'd literally recommend all of it. We ordered so many things and couldn't stop eating it all. We had polenta fries, rice balls, italian spring rolls, the alla vodka pizza, the Brook street pizza (without pepperoni), roasted beet salad, spaghetti carbonara, and of course dessert - tiramisu and zeppolies. Everything was hot & delicious, I'd literally order it all over again, even though I ate way too much! The roasted beet salad with the brûléed cheese was more amazing than I expected. The carbonara may have been the best I ever had. The tiramisu was delicious and the zeppolies came with a delicious frangelico cream to dip in that was so good. Our server was great too. We got to sit in the back area even though it was cold out because they have enclosed it and even offered to put the heaters on - which actually was a lot and they turned them off for us. We also had espresso martinis that were good and had a nice foam. ”

That wood fired oven is putting out some great pizza (that crust is a chewy, charred masterpiece) and great wings. Saw pasta dishes on other people's tables and definitely have to go back for those large, good looking portions. ”
“ This was my second time at Wood & Fire. Stopped in for a quick lunch. We were seated right away and the food was good just as we remembered. The food arrived quickly. We ordered the Meatball & Ricotta appetizer and the Vodka Pizza. The meatball was flavorful albeit not as tender as some other Italian Westchester spots but still worth ordering. The Vodka pizza had the perfect amount of char and the prosciutto created the perfect bite every time! 4 stars and not 5 because the service was slow considering the restaurant was pretty empty. They took away the empty plates, didn't ask if we wanted anything else, and left us sitting at the table with our water until we asked for the check. For sure I'll go back but with the expectation that the service will most likely be slow. Food is worth it. ”
